



Tequila Código 1530 is distinguished by its artisanal tequila-making process, attention to detail, and uncompromising quality standards. As the brand continued to expand its international presence, it faced a critical question shared by many premium brands today:
How can promotional products reflect luxury and authenticity while also addressing growing environmental expectations?
Traditional plastic promotional items no longer aligned with the brand’s values nor with the mindset of modern consumers. Código 1530 needed functional, visually refined, and sustainable promotional products that could be used in tastings, events, and brand activations—without compromising its elevated image.
The challenge was not simply to reduce plastic, but to create promotional items that embodied the origin of the brand itself: agave.
In collaboration with Ecoware, Tequila Código 1530 developed a curated collection of sustainable promotional products made partially with agave fibers, reinforcing a circular economy approach directly tied to the tequila’s origin.
The solution included:
All items were produced using Polyagave, a biobased plastic compound partially made from agave bagasse—a byproduct generated during tequila production. In this case, the agave fibers used came directly from Código 1530’s own manufacturing process, transforming waste into a valuable raw material.
Each piece was custom branded with the Código 1530 logo, combining premium aesthetics with durability and functionality. To complete the experience, agave-based straws were incorporated, creating a cohesive tasting set fully aligned with the brand’s sustainability narrative.
This approach ensured that every touchpoint—from the bottle to the promotional item—communicated authenticity, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
The promotional items were exceptionally well received by both the brand and its consumers. They were offered through Código 1530’s international online store as part of a curated selection of branded merchandise.
Visual content shared on social media showed the products being used alongside the tequila bottles, generating positive engagement and reinforcing the brand’s sustainability narrative.
Through this initiative, Tequila Código 1530 strengthened its positioning as an environmentally conscious brand, transforming production waste into functional promotional products while reducing plastic use and environmental impact.
By integrating agave fibers into thoughtfully designed promotional items, Código 1530 demonstrated how premium branding and sustainability can coexist — elevating the tasting experience while contributing to a more responsible future.
